I purchased the Nostalgia CCP509 full sized popcorn cart for home use and thus far it has been exceptional. It is beautiful, and does what it is supposed to. It does smoke a bit in the hopper, but from what I have read from other reviewers that is normal. I have had batches of popcorn that pop 95% and some that have popped 50%. Most of the time more pops than not. So I am thinking is operator error (the oil ratio or how much time I give it to preheat). Being a full sized machine it is not too difficult to clean. When buying it, you have to know it will be more work than a small air popper. But I don't find it to be difficult. The storage compartment is super handy, the cart is adorable, the wheels function and popcorn maker works great!

I would have rated this machine 5 stars if it had come with popcorn but it doesn't so it gets 4 stars. This machine is so much fun to have in our home theatre room and it makes great popcorn. It's been a hugh success. We've added the popcorn novelties, buckets, bags, etc to go along with it. Everyone raves about the popcorn and says it taste just like the stuff you buy at the movies. Here's the secret.
Pop 1/2 of cup of kernels in 3 table spoons of COCONUT oil
Once fully popped, add salt and and a butter flavored oil topping to taste.

Bought this for our TV room. It works just OK because the kettle continuosly "pops" off the gear that stirs the popcorn. You need to sit there and hold it in place. I have a feeling its not going to stand the test of time! Other than that little glitch it makes good popcorn

I love this machine. It fits perfectly in my kitchen without taking up too much space. It pops quickly and my kids 17 down to 3 love to watch it work. My only issue, which started last week, is that the stirring arm seems to raise up too high and jams popcorn under it causing the motor to stop. My husband is going to try and modify it to solve the problem. I hope to get many useful years from this machine.

We love our new Popcorn maker. It was fairly simple to assemble and we are getting a handle on just how much popcorn and oil to add as well as how long to wait for the unit to heat. Simple to clean up. The only thing we can't figure out is how long we should wait between dumping first batch and making the next. It seems to take forever to pop and I think it works best if you leave it sit for maybe 15 min before re-starting. Otherwise, we love it!!
